Protection and processing of personal data

Because it is important that you understand what we offer you, what data we collect, who and why we process it and for what purposes, and what rights you have in relation to this data, we invite you to read on!
We promise we will try to make this experience as simple and short as possible, so as not to detract from the original purpose of your visit. But the new Personal Data Act requires us to ask your consent for the data we collect.

What data do we collect/process?
For the most part, this is data that cannot directly identify you personally, but which, if you provide us with additional information, can lead to or contribute to your identification as a person. Let's take them one by one:

What are the purposes of collection/processing?
There are several main reasons behind the collection and processing of personal data:
The legitimate interest of the controller, which includes the following grounds

Profiling of visitors by geographic areas, time intervals and/or other commercial criteria, in order to identify categories with high interest or reasons for low interest in other categories, improving the information on the site and the commercial offer according to the results

Ensuring the stability and security of the site by identifying attempts to fraudulently access or abuse server resources
Who does the collection/processing?
Sales and newsletter data are collected and managed by PETERS COOLING. They contain clearly identifiable personal data, are stored using dedicated applications (accounting/invoicing/offering software, newsletter application), in a secure manner, within the internal network of PETERS COOLING SRL.
Under partners, there are three positions:
The hosting company that hosts our website (https://wix.com)
The inevitable Google, through Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
Both partners contribute to the collection and processing of data that for us are not clearly identifiable, in the absence of additional information from data subjects.
Simply put, we can learn from the data collected by these partners that you are from Dubai, that you visited us using a Samsung Galaxy A5, that you spent 16 minutes on our website, that you used Firefox Mobile and other similar information, but we cannot learn that your name is Alexander James or that you live at Sheikh Zayed Road unless you inform us in some way that it was you, Alexander James, with IP XXX on YYY. In terms of the law, this data is called "pseudonymised data".
The information is stored by the partners for XX months, after which it is automatically deleted without the possibility of retrieval.
Who else has access to this data?
By law, data on commercial transactions are reported to various state institutions. So, if you have bought something from us, either products or services, it means that the data on your invoice will go to all state bodies that have the right by law to collect/hold such information.
State bodies also have the legal right to oblige us to pass on personal or pseudonymised information in the case of inquiries and/or investigations of any kind.
Of course, data information may also be transmitted to partner companies, courier service providers, payment service providers, insurance companies that comply with the same laws as we do.
We strive to protect and secure as best we can all the information we collect, either directly or through partners.
What rights do you have in relation to this data?
You should however keep in mind that the vast majority of personal data collected/processed by us is psedonymised (as you saw above) and as such in order to identify you in our databases, we will need you to provide us with more personal data, such as your name, your IP address, your email address.
But we want you to be in the know, because privacy is important to us too. Here are the rights you can make use of:
